"So... What's going on with the shop?"

This is the question we’ve been fielding all Spring and Summer. Initially we were splitting our time between working at home and working on production in our back room, but the retail shop was closed. Then we were able to do some curbside pickup, but the shop was still closed. Then Summer came, the phased reopenings came, and more questions came. After a few months of discussions, it was made clear to us that the doors of the Market Arcade would remain locked. We (all of the shops on the first floor) were faced with the decision to move or operate by appointment only.

So it is with a strange and heavy heart that we are announcing we are changing how our little brick and mortar stationery shop will be doing business going forward. Our shop on Main Street will be by appointment only for meeting about invitations and stationery, and we will continue to run our production and operations out of here. However, our cards and gifts will only be available for purchase online through our website, and we will only be carrying our own products. (Aside from when we do baskets, those will have all of the fun items from other small biz brands that we've carried in the store the last few years!)

So, just in case everyone wasn't already sick to death of this word, we are PIVOTING and we are so excited for this new direction we are heading! We are in the process of rolling out a new line of stationery and gifts that will be available in our online shop, and soon for wholesale.

The Market Arcade, for all intents and purposes, has been closed as a retail destination, but we love this building, and we love Main Street. Even when so many have encouraged us to move to "trendier" neighborhoods, we feel strongly that this is our home. And while we are saddened by the changes that have happened in our corner of Buffalo and to the building we adore and have watched transform into such a vibrant little community, we are still proud to be here. We are so grateful for the support we've had from the city, and from our friends, family, and strangers that shopped with us and believed in Main Street like we did. And we hope you continue to shop with us online, even though we know it's not the same as physically being in the store.

So if you don't already, join our mailing list, and make sure you're following us on Facebook and/or Instagram, so you can stay up to date with all the new things going on with us! Stay safe, and stay well, we hope to "see" you soon!
